Bridal
on your engagement!
I am a freelance make up artist and I travel to you, whether you are getting ready at your home or wedding venue.
I specialise in bridal make up and have made up thousands of faces over my 25 years in the business.
I pride myself on providing the highest level of service, creating beautiful, picture perfect make up that feels natural and will last from first look to last dance.
Congratulations
I would love to help you prepare for your special day. So, to check if your date is available, please fill in the form on my contact page, say hello on Facebook or if your prefer , call me for a good old fashioned chat.
I take bookings up to 2 years in advance as some dates such as school holidays, Easter and of course Christmas and New Year have become really popular.
What happens next?
I always recommend a trial run for the bride which is normally done about a month or two before the wedding day. Hen celebrations are usually a good time to have it done and give it a test run.
At the trial we'll have a chat about what make up you normally wear, what you like and dislike and also look at some photos for ideas.
Most of my brides prefer to go for a flawless, natural look that still looks like them, just a more beautiful, polished version!
It's probably not the best time to try a complete new look, but important to create a timeless, flawless one that won't date and make you cringe when you look at the photos in years to come.
Once you're happy with your look, we'll arrange the timings for the big day, taking into consideration things like the arrival of photographers, how long it takes to get into your dress and what time you need to leave for the ceremony. The last hour ALWAYS flies by!
There's a lot to think about so the more you prepare beforehand the more relaxed you'll be on the day.
Wedding day
I'll arrive at your home or venue at the arranged time and start making up Mums and bridesmaids or any guests.
I usually do the brides make up about halfway or last depending on how you're feeling.
This means that you can do all your running around first thing, enjoy some breakfast then sit and relax in the make up chair with a glass of bubbly or a cup of tea before you get into your dress.
I like to stay until you're ready to leave just to check that everything is perfect before you go.
Especially if there's been a few tears!
